Restring Zero

Restring Zero is a co-poly manufactured by Restring. The company set out to make a string to rival the popular string, Hyper-G, by Solinco. Zero plays extremely well at high and low tensions. The string feels more responsive than Hyper-G, but is a little higher powered. The metallic blue color of Zero helps the feeling of the string to be less plastic-feeling. The string has excellent snap-back, resulting in better durability than many strings that I have tried. Zero's durability doesn't just show through the lack of popping strings, but in tension maintenance and notching as well. The string has not notched in the 3 weeks I've been hitting with it as a teaching pro and a player, nor has the tension dropped off as badly as some other polys. Overall the string could be more responsive when compared to the feel of some aluminum-based polys like Luxilon Alu Power and Lynx Tour in the dark silver variant. If you are a player that plays with Hyper-G or Confidential, I think that this string is worth trying out.
